Report on the 2014 West Wales Freemasons Provincial Bursary Award of £3000

Carmarthen and District Harriers Athletics Club is extremely grateful for the 2014 Award. The award
was used, as in previous years, for the further development of athletics and cross country running in
West Wales at primary and secondary school level.

The Award was used to cover some of the costs of some of the following events which were
organised by Carmarthen Harriers:

Dyfed secondary schools cross country championships at Dinefwr Park Llandeilo - Dyfed schools then went on to win the Welsh schools overall cross country team title (20th time in 21years). Again won it 2015.

Dyfed primary schools cross country championships at the Showground. 1600 competitors from 70
primary schools took part and Mr Brian Hilling assisted with the presentation of awards. The 2015
event is being held at the Showground on Thursday 19 March 2015 and Mr Brian Hilling has again
been invited to attend and present awards.

Dyfed secondary schools relays competition at the Carmarthen Athletics Track; Dyfed secondary schools championships at the Carmarthen Athletics Track and Dyfed primary schools athletics championships at the Carmarthen Athletics Track.
