Colin O'Dare Bursary 2019

Pembrokeshire College Students, Tamzyn Dark, Monika Smarul and Marged Williams have each been awarded a £1000 Colin O’Dare Bursary for 2019. The Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother James Ross was pleased to present the students with a certificate commemorating their awards and the cheques on Thursday 11th July 2019.

 

Tamzyn has been studying Business at Pembrokeshire College and is going to Cardiff University to study Business and Event Management and International Tourism. Monika has been studying Catering at Pembrokeshire College and is going to Swansea Metropolitan University to study International Hotel Management. Marged has been studying Sports Coaching and Development at the College and she is going to continue her studies at Loughborough University. Marged also plays in the centre for the Scarlets.

 

The Colin O’Dare Bursaries are awarded annually by the Provincial Grand Charity of the Masonic Province of West Wales to encourage worthy students to further their education. The selection is made by the staff at Pembrokeshire College, and Tamzyn, Monika and Marged were selected this year because of their outstanding achievement during their time at Pembrokeshire College.

 

The Province of West Wales wish them every success in their future studies and careers.
