Mrs Peggy Humber - 104 Not Out!

On 17th March, Wor Bro Dai Rees, almoner of the Castlemartin Lodge, together with Bro Charles Hughes assistant Almoner, visited the Ashdale Nursing Home, Pembroke to visit the oldest widow of the Lodge.  The occasion was the 104th Birthday of Mrs Peggy HUMBER.  Mrs Humber has been in the Nursing home for a couple of years and is visited regularly by family members.  Mrs Humber continues in remarkable health and never fails to recall most interesting highlights of Masonic events of yester year especially Ladies evenings. Mrs Humber and her husband were in business in Pembroke dock for many years and are very well known and respected in the community. She continues to enjoy a little tipple regularly and is surely a fine example of the benefits of taking regular potions. It was fitting therefore for the Castlemartin Lodge to present her with a Handcrafted Birthday Card, Bouquet of Flowers, and her favourite Stones Ginger wine. A rousing rendition of Happy Birthday from residents, family members, Dai and Charles completed a most happy morning.
