More than 4,000 brethren from all over the world descended on London's Royal Albert Hall for the Tercentenary celebration on Tuesday 31st October 2017. The audience was made up of masons from 136 grand lodges from around the globe.
The evening included dramatic a presentation that portrayed masonic history and heritage, and how central both freemasons and freemasonry have been to Western history.
The celebrity cast featured Derek Jacobi, Sanjeev Bhaskar, and Samantha Bond. The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra provided the musical accompaniment against the backdrop of a colossal 55ft gold Square and Compasses and dramatic light show incorporating the All-Seeing Eye.

West Wales was represented by the usual suspects, along with many other brethren from around the Province.
The Provincial Secretary had booked a table for lunch at a local hostelry next to the Albert Hall, but the booking had gone astray. “Don’t worry mate,” said the barman, “it’s Tuesday lunchtime, we won’t be busy today.”
“I think you might be busier than you think,” said the wise Provincial Secretary and how right he was!
