The Annual Trevor Kelway Lodge Carol Service took place on Saturday, 13th December, 2014, hosted by the Worshipful Master, W.Bro. Ken Heath and Mrs Yvonne Heath.

It has become something of a tradition for the Carol Service to be led by members of the Llanelli Salvation Army Band, and this year was no exception.

Following a ‘mulled wine’ reception and a most enjoyable Service, 69 brethren, ladies and guests sat down to a hot meal in the dining room with further light entertainment, led by W.Bro. Simon Hill with accompaniment by Bro. David Hunt Davies on the keyboard.

The event was graced with the presence of the Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Stephen D. Hookey, Mrs Angela Hookey and the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, V.W.Bro. Brian C. Hilling.

As in previous years, in addition to Llanelli based brethren, the event was well supported by other travelling brethren and ladies including a good contingent from the Castlemartin Lodge and members of Tenby, Cleddau and Neyland Lodges and Beaufort Lodge, Swansea.

Many toys and gifts, donated by members and guests, were presented to the Salvation Army for distribution to underprivileged children along with a cheques totalling £285, which included a donation from the Trevor Kelway Lodge and very generous donations from members, including Honorary members, who were unable to attend.
